There is also a wide range of university sports on offer.

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering successfully launched the dual study model in the winter semester 2023/24: the number of dual students and dual cooperation partners is growing steadily.

In contrast to "regular" studies, you have a higher practical component:

  • You spend the lecture-free periods at the company (minus exam and vacation days).
  • In the Bachelor's degree program, you complete the practical module and the final thesis with the dual cooperation partner, and in the Master's degree program, the final thesis.
  • In addition, two so-called dual project(s) are completed at the company in the Bachelor's degree program and one in the Master's degree program.
  • Please clarify the topics for these modules and projects in your company in good time and find a suitable professor in the department.

Here you can find general information from the university about the dual study program at h_da.
